The Wonderful Highheel Platform and Why I'm Head Over Heels For Them

And, oh my Prada, right when the trend had inched to it's highest stacked heel, Prada decided it would make so much sense to put little ankle on with the already crazy heels! I thought it was cute, but it wasn't the smartest nor the safest idea.

All in all, it's a love-hate relationship with the Highheel Platform and I, and I love them so much more than I hate them!

The Highheel Platform is certainly one of fashion's hottest & most resourceful craze, yet also the most dangerous.

It would certainly be great if I could find almost all the latest styles in my size. But since we know that won't be happening anytime soon, I'll have to drool over them from a distance, while gasping and aww-ing at the same time.

And poor Nicholas Kirkwood, he even had doubts and reportedly told Style.com that he was over the trend! He was also regretting the shoes he had made for the Rodarte show that, while sexy, caused just as many problems.

So there were toppling models all over the runway!

Absolutely no matter where you look every model has had her share of windfalls, despite the fact that if she's wearing 6" Louis Vuitton's she will be falling all day!

I think the only thing that the models were missing is a few towering stilettos of their own. But you know what, let's look at it this way:

They travell all over the world, showing up in all the major shows, all usually sporting the latest highheel platforms! So wearing anything but a long bath probably makes their arches scream from horrible pain!

Those models' feet are probably giving them hell!

In my case I don't ever have my heels on for long, but on time when I wore them for Halloween for 3 hours straight, trying desperately to hold on for dear life, I was definitely paying for it the next day.

Now listen to this, heels are not the most basic thing to go walking in, yet I reassure you, the highheel platform isn't the hardest thing to walk in either. I possess a few pair of 5 inchers myself! But as with anything else in life practice makes perfect.
